Ongaku France staff is made of three members:

Polochon (president): Has been living music, eating music, drinking music, 24 hours a day, for nearly 14 years (including 11 years of heavy-metal and alikes). Even though she's known X Japan since 1993, she discovered jrock/visu "in general" in 2002 only (+ in January, yeah)... and loved it straight away! Her top-3 favourites: Pierrot, X Japan(/hide) and Gackt. But as she "comes from heavy-metal" (Angra, Maiden, Dark Tranquility, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Crematory, Children of Bodom, Dream Theater, etc...), she's the one who tries the most to get into the association bands that could "match" this kind of music. But she has nothing against softer music: she's also an absolute fan of The Beatles and Paul McCartney (...her nickname comes from his firstname actually); and even though she usually listens to very little classical music (there are very little good interprets... save a few exceptions, like Yehudi Menuhin!), she's a pianist and violonist who plays only classical music... because that's what she prefers playing.

Co-chan (treasurer):

Emi (secretary): Has been in love with Japan for seven years, thanks to her interest for manga. She finds about L'Arc~en~Ciel a little after: they were the very first band she really -loved-, who she always loved and will always love. She listens to Gackt's music in 2000 for the first time, and then begins a real passion for this musician: she becomes an absolute fan within a few seconds only. Eversince she discovered Gackt, she's been listening to Japanese music only, or nearly (add sometimes a few Americans or, very rarely, French), prefering visual-kei (rather soft and not too "violent"), heavy-like, but mainly rock. Another artist she loves: Hakuei (Penicillin). She also loves the period of Malice Mizer when Gackt was their singer, Uchuu Sentai Noiz for a few months, and a lot other Japanese bands... She now has a real passion for Japan, already went there twice, and hopes she will live there one day. As for instruments, she loves the sound of electric guitars, but the violin is her favourite instrument: she began to learn how to play it a few months ago ("late is better than never" [litteral translation for "mieux vaut tard que jamais", a French saying]. She also loves languages, in general, Japanese being of course in the first position: she's been learning it for six years, and has been learning English eversinceshe was a child.

Isn't an actual member of the direction but does help the association Ongaku France:

Tsukiyomi, alias Dora-chan, alias Yuki or even Cornichon (private joke) (Translator/interpret) :
Tsuki isn't a member of the association. He's a translator. He's in charge of the translation and interpretation into Japanese. Born in 1983 in Tokyo (Meguro area) from a French father and a Japanese mother, he's been speaking Japanese as well as French eversince he was a child, and has always been trying to create a bridge between these two languages. He listens to any kind of music. Everything except rap and techno music which he bare with anymore eversince he was a teenager (that is, except the really good songs, which are quite the exception...). From Chopin to Glay, Dir en Grey to Frank Sinatra, Rammstein to George Brassens, he listens to all kinds of stuff and appreciates the specificities of every type of music.
